We came to Gunbae after Brookfield Mall closed at 8:30 pm, looking for kimchi fried rice. They didn't have it, so we ordered the seafood stew, fried chicken & seafood pancake. The food was excellent as was the service. The wings were slightly cold so the waiter quickly brought new ones. Serving sizes are larger than expected. There's a nice looking karaoke bar downstairs. Highly recommended for Korean food near the World Trade Center area.

Such a magnificent example of Korean bbq. This is my second time at a Korean bbq. Honestly better than the first time I ever had the Korean BBQ. I had the wagyu brisket and pork belly. It was lunch and a show. You won't walk away hungry. The drinks are amazing.

Such a cool night! Had a table of 8 for dinner that turned into 15 of us in the karaoke party room singing at the top of our lungs. A birthday to remember. Restaurant was lovely. Karaoke system had a leaning curve but we got there.

I went there around 2pm on Saturday. The food was very good, the place was clean and organized. The service was good, keep filling the water for us even though the glass water bottle was on our table. We were too busy eating.

Good Korean food! Awesome ambiance! We wanted the barley tea with our hot stone Bibimbap and they were quick to accomodate! Wife really liked the Kimchi! The sobu was tasty too! Must try if in Downtown NYC!

Delicious and they always cook it to your preference. We had the seafood pancake with was packed with seafood and the wagyu along with the marinated kalbi. One of my fave kbbq spots especially in the FiDi area. If you’re in a group of 4-5 I’d recommend the hansang combo 😍

Awesome Korean BBQ place located centrally in Tribeca. Very easy to access from the 1 train. The sides were amazing, just the right amount of spice in all the sides, very subtle. Had the korean fried wing and edemame appetizers, chicken is very good with a light soy garlic taste. Steamed egg with the rice so classic. Had the wagyu beef and peppered pork belly, everything was just so good. The waiter cooks the food for your and they are very careful to cook it exactly right, we had our medium rare. Had a few drinks with dinner too, those were standard and well made. They also have several rooms downstairs for kareoke if that's what you are into. All in all a great experience.
